I just reflashed my ecm and had the battery disconnected, now my remote doesnt work on the 5901..
How do I pair the lcd remote? hopefully this is the issue as it gives the out of range noise everytime I press a button. The alarm seems to be working as i can get noise out of holding the valet button.

i doubt the remote needs to be reprogrammed... i have never had one lose it's pairing just by disconnecting the battery.....

can you verify the functions? is it just Out of range notification but doors still lock etc?  try unplugging the antenna for a couple of minutes and replug it in.. this will re-synch it.....

the alarm arms with the remote?  the 5901 should not arm itself by you just turning the key in the door....
