Ok, did a search. didn't see anything. I have a 98 2 door 2wd Tahoe.. I'm going to install a Viper 5901 next weekend. Does that truck require any modules for remote start? I am also looking for the reverse wire for a backup cam..

Thanks in advance,

Brian

Ref the reverse light; use parking brake, turn on ignition not engine, place in reverse, go back to the light cluster and test for which wire, when you find out which one, try and pick it up in one of the floor looms at the kick panel. Alternatively if auto it might be under the shift lever.

Ok, Still looking for the answer about the module so I can get what I need ordered.. The guy installing for me doesn't have access to directech anymore I guess.  DEI's site shows I need expresskit #06. But the description for that item says it's for vehicles 2003 and up.. Any input please?

Thanks...Brian

Thanks for the reply. the 1100f module listed looks like it's for a Ford though? The more I look in to this, the more I am getting confused... Will the Xk006 work? Thanks,

Brian

Ok, that's good to know. What other module will work that doesn't need to be flashed then? I appreciate the reply. I don't know if my buddy c an flash it or not...

GM usually uses a light green wire for the backup lights, you may be able to find it at the park/neutral trans position switch on the drivers side of the trans
