Hello all,

Having a bit of any issue with an 08 altima push 2 start. Using a DLPK for a bypass. Followed DEI's instruction sheet perfectly but it wont crank. All the lights and everything come on like they should. DEI says "if you followed the instructions correctly it should work perfect. We cant help you"... Anyone else experience anything similar with the DLPK? Is there a better module to use?

PS.. tried wiring it in manually and also D2D with the same result.

we need a little bit more info to be able to help you out, like remote start model and kind of a rundown on what you connected where

idatalink modules for the new toyota push to start models are what I would use

directechs technical help is a joke even if you are a dealer

PS: did you program the bypass for the car

the remote start is an avital 5303 2way alarm/remote start combo. Per DEI and the DLPK instructions I installed a relay under the hood in the fuse box that uses the neutral safety wire and the (-) 2nd starter to trigger the starter itself. I also went to the BCM to get my door/hood/trunk triggers, door locks, (2) accessory wires, 2nd starter, (2) ignitions, & brake wire.

I have an idatalink module that will also work for this car. Would you suggest I use it instead?

And yes the bypass is programmed. there is only 1 firmware version for the DLPK

by chance does dei require you to use a diode in the underhood relay? if so check to se if you maybe have it in backwards, i had this happen to me the first time i installed a flashlogic(idatalink) piece on an altima and had same issue, switched diode and all was well
