I am installing a Bulldog RS and PS2 bypass in a 03 Tahoe. I have checked every lead twenty times ensuring proper connectivity, re-learned the bypass, and tried other options for hours with no luck. It remote starts perfect and you think mission accomplished then it dies after 10 seconds of run-time. It is telling me to hook up a factory alarm disable wire in the kick-panel, never had to do this before but it didnt help anyway. If it were a bypass problem I would figure it to not start at all. I can feel a relay kick out in the box when it shuts off after ten seconds.

Where did you get your tach signal from? I'm gonna assume you didn't use it, and tell you to get your tach behind the cluster and it will be a white wire. It'll be your only white wire there.

I'd bet my ex-wives life that that tach either hasn't been connected properly or learned properly or both.
Being less facetious any R/S that starts and runs for 5-15 secs then cuts out means tach isn't right.
The fact that it starts at a means you've done everything else pertaining to the R/S correctly including the by-pass if fitted.

I did not use a tach wire. It had an option to run tach-less so that's what I did. I haven't had to use a tach lead before so I didnt think I would have to now. Thanks for the help, I'll give it a shot

How did you hook up your door triggers if you used the dome light change it. I had this problem too and I changed it to the proper way and never had a problem

Good to hear, I've posted a note on tach learning because we've had a few posts like this recently.
Actually right now I wish I was in contact with her because my daughter's going through a nasty divorce and she needs the Rotweiller right now!
