All,

I need to install a remote start on a 2009 Ford Edge and the customer wants to retain the power liftgate feature.  In my research I find nothing that specifically relates to wiring this option.  Has anyone got any info on what it would take to do this?  I'm going to use a Compistar 2W900FMR and a iDatalink MULTI AL CA.

Thanks!

If they haven't changed it, on the 2007 Edge the Power Liftgate open/close wire is Gray / YELLOW (-) at the switch in the dash or in driver kick panel.

If you have it, use the IDatalink  ADS TB.  It cheaper and the ADS AL CA doesn't do any more.

Soldering is fun!

Thanks for the info.  I may pass on this one.  I hate spinning my wheels and the customer seems pushy.  I'll check to see if I have that TB, I know I have at least one other type in here right now but mostly stock the AL CA.  Thanks again.
