Installed new Ford PowerCode Enhanced Security/Remote Start in 2003 F250 6.0 diesel.  All wiring checked per spec.  Tach signal is good and system confirms learning.  All security features work.  When you initiate remote start you can hear relays activate, but ignition does not come "on" and starter does not turnover.  I checked hood swicth etc.

Check for nuetral safety switch wiring, or look in the trouble shooting section of the installation manual. Did you install a immobilizer bypass?

What are you using for the "Wait To Start" signal?

Appreciate the response.  I checked brake switch wire and it is proper wire and receiving signal, HOWEVER I drove the truck and noticed that every time I apply the brake, the dome light comes on and dome light delay initiates with light staying on for forty five seconds - will start from scratch in the a.m. any inputs in the meantime would be appreciated.

I think you may have the wrong brake light wire, I know that you said that you checked but just make sure one more time - first off to see right away if this is the problem try to remote start the car with the brake light wire from your r/s unit disconnected, if it starts then there is your problem. the brake light wire should be a light green that shows neg or nothing at rest and a pos. when brake is pushed REGARDLESS IF TRUCK IS STARTED OR NOT. There is obviously a problem somewhere if the dome light comes on when the brake is pushed. Check to see if there is another switch off the pedal up a little higher, and make sure that the pulse is the same when the truck has ign and when it is off. Also when you say that the ign 'doesnt turn on' does that mean that nothing happens at all or do the dash lights come on then shut right off? Let us know what happens but i would bet on the wrong brake light wire
