I had a 05 Sprinter since new & a I had to build a latching relay board to fool the driver door lock when the remote locked the Sprinter. That way if you tried to open the doors with the key the alarm would still go off & instead of unlocking the door & turning off the alarm. I still have a diagram for it if you need it. Got rid of the Sprinter in November. But I know the European Sprinter had different software in it than the North American ones.

Well after using it a couple of weeks I noticed today that if the door is open & I push the remote that the alarm arms. The door is open. No beep beep, hey the door is open. Yet if the doors are shut & I arm the alarm using the key to open the door does cause the alarm to go off. I am confused. If the opening of the door when armed sets the alarm off would the door wiring be correct? thanks
