Working on a 2002 Trailblazer that had a previously installed remote start.  I installed a pioneer double din head unit using Scosche GMLAN2SR integration module.

The Keyless entry & remote start became non functional.  Checked all power / grounds and found when I unplug the GMLAN2SR module the lock/unlock/start will work again.

Been pulling my hair out trying to trace this other installers wiring but it all looks good.

My assumption is that the GMLAN2SR is doing something with the datalink signal that the bypass module(directed 457G) doesn't like.

Just trying to see if I need to get a different stereo kit or should I look at a different bypass module.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Also wanted to add that I can't get the 457G into programming mode with the scosche module hooked up but the second I disconnect it I am able to.

Just wondering if all stereo intigration kits are going to cause this problem with the 457g before I go and try new parts out.

ok. you cant have to lan mods trying to simultaneously sending converted data so do this.

leave your scosche piece in and remove your 457G (by the way save your 457G hard to find)

do this for your bypass http://documents.codesystems.com/700055.pdf

your way will work for remote start topinstaller but it will do nothing for doorlocks so to illiminate the 457g hes gonna have to do the relay bpass for passlock as well as hardwire the door locks(which is a pain in the ass)

you are probably experiencing data collision as mentioned before. There was a tech bulletin released not to long ago. I am fairly certain there was a work around for it.
take the ignition input off of the schosche module and put it to vehicle ignition or retained acc power (yellow wire in the trailblazers kickpanel) you might lose door chimes but that is the cost of doing business.
