Parking lites more than 10 amps?

I got a Sidewinder 6500 esp, there is a note in the manual that if the parking lites drew more than 10A, a relay was needed, etc.

Where do I measure for this current draw? At the input and output of a bulb? And do I need to do this for each bulb and add up the total?

Gonna be posting more and more now that I got my alarm!

The car is a '73 Datsun 240Z with a fuel injected small block chevy V8. I've gotten used to not saying make/model/year cuz at the parts counter, the part I usually need didn't come with the Z :-)

The electronics harness is a Painless Wiring 18-circuit harness.

Anyway, if I WERE to check how much amperage my circuit draws, what would be the best way?

But my question was, where to measure...close to the fusebox, at the light ltself, measure each light and add up to numbers, etc?
