I have an exterior light kit that for now is controlled by a toggle switch. I want to add a remote control and keep the toggle switch.

Is there a relay module(model name and number) that allows for remote and toggle switch control for the same circuit? I'm thinking if I wire up the remote controlled relay into my existing circuit the remote control module wouldn't like it when I use the toggle switch.

I'm trying to not use a diode out of preference for now.

Like a SPDT relay? The remote energises the relay whose #30 goes to lights; #87 to fused +12V; #87a to the toggle switch output (+12V).
There will be short a break when the relay switches over.

That sounds like what I need. Where can I find a SPDT relay that uses a remote? Do you have manufacturer name and model number?

You find a remote control that does what you want.
Remotes might use relays, but relays don't use remotes.
All you need is a remote that turns something on and off. (The relay may be built in.)
Try a search for remote control 12V relay changeover... etc.
If it is simply on-off (not changeover), then use that to switch a change-over relay as I described above.

Any generic wireless receiver/transmitter will work,Ebays full of them from $10 up!
They come in toggle/mom/latched flavours, just connect an spdt relay to suit!

fleetboy - see mp3car's Remote control momentary "switch" on EBAY - some nice remotes for ~$10 (2 button) & $14 (4 button, water resistant).
12vlost - glad I found you. Better late is better then never - but you know that.
