Yea the $1.00 per watt. days are over. With forums like this and online sales why pay $1.00 per watt.? As far as the authorized dealer talk, most companies will simply repair any of their equipment that has a receipt, doesn't have to be bought from an authorized dealer. Not to mention there are authorized dealers online too. Many use this forum!

Seems to be some confusion. I paid $1200 total, not just for the amp. $500 for the HX2's and $700 for the 1000bd. I know it was still a little high, but the necessity of gettign it and installing it before the wife (well, possibly future x-wife) came home out weighed the cost. Besides, the less money I have, the less she can take if things go south 1ohm stable amps - Page 2 -- posted image.

Can't edit right now, so new post ensues!...
Full retail down here on 1 RFD2112 is around $360 (w/o tax), and on the 1000bd is around $850 (w/o tax). I live in central Florida, and prices seem to be higher down here for whatever reason, and 6% sales tax. So all in all, $1200 (with tax) is still better then $1570 (without tax)($1675 with tax). It wasn't much of a break, but it was still better than full retail. Thx for everyone's input, I appreciate the help and contact info for future upgrades 1ohm stable amps - Page 2 -- posted image.
