Just installed my avital 4113 in our 99 Alero. Everything worked great while I was testing and my dlpkgm seemed to program just fine.  I've noticed that if the doors are locked with the factory remote and then started with the remote start the security light will come on and stay on once in a while. If we start it with the key everything is normal.

Is there another wire that needs to be hooked up? Do I need a different passlock module?  Should I bypass the passlock all together with the capacitor fix?  I appreciate the help, I've gotten some excellent advice on here.

Have you connected BOTH ignition wires? (Assuming this is a GM car).
