small light control wire?

I am trying to install a Chinese GPS DVD entertainment head unit in my car. One of the wires on the harness says "small light control wire" and I dont know what to hook it to. The manual says nothing about it so I was hoping someone out there would know what it is for. i have emailed the manufacture but still havent heard back. The model is a VELO 2401G ThanksJer

if it has lights on the dvd player then that wire is probably what controls them. you hook it up to the dome light so that the lights come on when you open the door. if you had to take down your factory dome light this serves as a replacement.

From the looks of the model pulled up on Ebay, http://global./VELO_2401G_7_CAR_IN_DASH_DOUBLE_DIN_DVD_PLAYER_NAV_GPS/180582148762/item, that wire is possibly an illumination wire that will dim the radio lights when you turn your parking lights on.T. Murphy

wow, i'm an idiot. for some reason i thought you were talking about a flip down tv. still not sure how i arrived at that conclusions
