Is there a way to wire a relay up with time delay for this unit. I want to be able to make changes to the GPS while I'm driving but you can only do it with the parking break latched. I tried a relay that goes ground using the remote turn on lead but that did not seem to work. Any suggestions on how to do this?

Is there a lead for a neg switching parking break? If so just permanently ground it, problem solved.

That doesn't work. The unit resets the "green ground" when it turns off. I have seen people run toggle switches but to me that does not look right.
