The max runtime I this unit is 12 minutes.

Is there another remote start unit, which I can switch out to, that has a longer runtime, about 20 mins?

If another unit doesnt exist with a matching harness, I guess i will have to just upgrade it.

go to the downloads section and down the manuals for some other dei units.  maybe 552t, 551r. once you get "in the zone" of comparing different manuals, you will find a match in no time at all.

hopefully you have a copy of you manual to compare to the wires that you are actually using for your current model.

if you find a model that will plug directly in to your exsisting harnesses that has a Bitwriter input, you can have someone with a bitwriter program 1-99 minutes for ya.

if you have a manual for your unit, post some pics if the harness label pages.

if you dont have the manual and cant find a copy,  i have taken the backside of a module and inked it and pressed it onto a blamk page to use for making copy of the schematic. it takes a couple tries to get it right and works great .

well, i just compared your wiring to all the viper, python, boa, hornet and valet manuals on this site and nothing looked like it was gonna solve your problem.

BUT .. since you already have a remote start that works, buying one with an extended run time wouldnt be as hard to wire up as staring from scratch. after all, every wire you need is already gathered in one spot ready to be respliced into what ever new unit you settle on.

you might even be able to pop the old terminals out for some wires and plug them into the new units harness plug and save some splicing.

Thanks itsyuk!

Yeah, I have been comparing different install manuals, and also came up with nothing. I was just hoping there was a newer bitwriter-compatible model out there.

I guess it's just an excuse for a 5902. :)
