I just got in the JVC stereo I won on ebay and there is no ground wire in the harness. I can tell where it used to be, but the connector inside the harness has been broken. Is it ok just to ground the chassis of the radio and let that be the ground?
Thanks

Thanks, I appreciate the fast response. I thought it'd be okay, but wanted to ask. Since I'm still at work and won't be installing it til this afternoon.

It works great. I attached the ground wire to one of the mounting screws on the side of radio.
Hopefully if anyone else has this question this will help them out.
Thanks,

Actually, In most cases the antenna will supply all the ground you need.
