Ok im going to try and install a c3-rs603 remote start in my 2010 ford fusion sport. last time i tried i was unsuccessful. I'm using a fortin evo-all as a bypass module. The directions seem pretty simple, but i could not get the remote start system to try and start the vehicle. by the directions i have to try to start the vehicle with the remote start in order to program the fortin evo all. i tried the key on key off program for the remote start but could not get it to react. not sure if i should have to connect all of the wires, ie acc, to the vehicle. the fortin evo all is connected to the remote start with lock/unlock, starter wire, ignition, brake, hood, ground while running. any suggestions?

So the R/s has to be connected to the ignition instead of the fortin? The fortin directions show the r/s ignition being connected to it also.

the large gauge wires will be connected to the ignition, so will the fortin piece. it needs to sense ignition to send certain codes via data.

Ok, I have the r/s installed and functional, but the vehicle is not starting, so i'm assuming the evo-all is not functioning. They tell me to push the program button till the led light is red, then turn ignition to the on position, off, then do the same with a second key. Then they say to activate the remote start, so I do all of this and the red led light on the evo all is supposed to flash ten times. All it does after the first key is the red and yellow led light stays on, even after I activate the remote start. Suggestions? Thanks for your help.

you must be programming it incorrectly, or check if you have the ground when running connected.

Success at last! Now can someone tell me where to find the parking light wire? I see someone else posted that it was a PURPLE / white wire at the kick panel, but the two purple and white wires I found were not the ones and I've already burned up a switch by trying there. i also seen that it was at the sjb plug E, but I'm not sure which plug that is. Thanks Again everyone for your help!

This info from DEI :

Parking Lights+    PURPLE / white  (+)    driver kick or SJB, gray 13 pin plug (E), pin 6
The SJB (Smart Junction Box) is under the driver dash.

Not sure on the exact layout of the 2010 Fusion SJB, but typically Plug E is on the right,

second or third from the top.  It should test as a standard (+) Parking Light wire.

Soldering is fun!

Well so far unsuccessful at finding that wire. i found a plug with one black and one grey plug together, tested both PURPLE / white wires on the grey plug and they were both positive all the time. I'm assuming that the plug I need to get to is the same one for the door locks?
