What is the most reliable method to get a tach signal on these trucks.
I'm going to be putting in a viper 5902. I've just been out of the game for a good while and remeber these trucks being a thorn in my keister for a decent tach signal. Just curious if anyone has a silver bullet now. It looks like I'll just use the DB-all for the immobilizer bypass. Thanks for all help and ideas.

On diesel vehicles the tach wire is lt. GREEN / WHITE in a 5 wire harness held up with white tape behind the parking brake release. The tach wire on these vehicles may generate an unclean signal. Options maybe to set the threshold jumper to “on/low“ when programming tach in some Directed remote systems or use part number 454T tach signal generator.
