Is it possible to keep the alarm from arming on a Avital 4400 but keep the remote start available? I want to be able to lock and unlock the doors on our 2006 Honda Accord using either the Honda remote key or the DEI remote and not set off the alarm.

Valet mode will do this for you. It will allow all of the convenience features to work but disable the security portion of your system. Quickest way is to have the alarm disarmed, open a door, press lock, unlock, lock on the avital remote. You should see the LED light up solid. Take a look at your owner's manual ( link) for a better description.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.
