Either reconnect the +12V signal for the headlight switch and relays to an IGN +12V source (or maybe ACC), or...
Insert an SPST relay in series with the headlight beam relays (or before their selector switch) and have the relay energised by IGN +12V.
Or do what I do - a buzzer between the beam switch power (eg, taillights on) and to the door switch. The buzzer will sound if the taillights/beam-power is on and the door(s) is opened. Diode(s) may be needed if other circuitry is involved. (EG - I use a diode so that both doors trigger the dome light (if selected) but ONLY the driver's door buzzes when the parkers or lights are on.)
