keep stuff from sliding

Alright I need a little advice/suggestions. I'm working on my 1972 Chevelle and I am making a bunch of wood panels for the trunk to make it look like it's closed off. I am worried about the bottom panel sliding around and possibly hitting my quarter panels from the inside. Is there any material I can use to keep this from sliding around? I really don't want to put screws through the bottom of my trunk. The bottom piece will lay flat on the trunk floor and then there will be a false floor above it with a gap (amps will sit in between)

Stick-on velcro.  Stick the "male" side (the hooks) onto your material and it will grad the carpet.  Available at any fabric store.Support the12volt.com

Sorry forgot to post that part. There is no carpet it's dynamat. There will be carpet on top of the false floor. So basically it will be stacked like this and I need to figure out how to old the bottom flow in place. false floor amps floor dynamat

Douoble-backed tape.  Get the industrial strength stuff.Support the12volt.com

or you can take some of the metal backing off of the dynamat and let the floor stick to the dynamat.

I'll probably try the double stick tape thing. Between that and the tight clearance around the wheel wells and everything I don't think I'll have much of an issue.

You may have an issue with amplifier cooling... how much air space have you left around the amps that are in the middle of your sandwich?Support the12volt.com

There will be at least 5 inches between the two. I plan to run a couple 12 volt fans and draw air from the open trunk area and blow it through the space between the two pieces.
