I went out unlocked my Viper 5900 SST As always and it unlocked just fine but the pager remote still said it was locked and the Blue LED Stopped blinking. Holding Aux Button usually rolls down my windows but when i held it down it just beeped at me and nothing happened and it still said it was locked even when it wasn't. It wouldnt lock or unlock or anything via remote. When I started the truck I rolled down the windows and within seconds the windows rolled up in phases like ---- ----- ----- ---- and i would hear a constant clicking sound and the LED would Flash with the clicks. I could drive it just fine just couldn't roll down the windows as they were constantly rolling up to the window module. Now I unplugged everything from the module and the windows still do like they would if it wasnt doing all this, i had auto rolldown and up etc. My truck a 96 F150 don't have this option so the window module was still working correctly. My question is to see what I need to do to find out what exactly the problem is so I can use my car alarm again. It's driving me nuts and I wanna secure my vehicle.

could be a bad ground to your alarm. alarms tend to do strange things when they lose ground because they try to find ground through other channels and it makes them act stupid. check the main ground to your alarm and make sure it is tight and screwed to bare metal in the truck and it is not rusted.

I unplugged everything for the time being and plugged it all back in yesterday and it all works again. Do you think the Main Box is going out possibly? This is the 2nd time actually that this has done this. The first time I noticed one of the fuses had not blown but the plastic Bubbled up and once I replaced that fuse it worked again. That fuse was to the White wire(Parking Light Flash) which is what clicks and flashes while I drive if I am not mistaken when it glitches like this. I don't know if the lights were flashing the first time or second time I was in a hurry when I was driving to head to work and just unplugged it when I got there. If that can assist you as to what ground may be messed up let me know. But this time that fuse was fine and unplugging and re plugging in all the harnesses worked...for now.
