how do you know if your bypass has died?

I could be wrong... its been a while since I've worked on one of those, but I don't think you need to make a connection to the starter wire... it should automatically start when the accessory voltage drops out (make sure unit is programmed to drop accessory during start). At that point the bcm takes over for starting. I would try changing out to W2W so that you can put a DMM on the hood pin / brake switch inputs and make sure they are not getting false signals causing the non-start.Kenny

check the fuses on your remote starter, the acc and the crank circuit share a 12v supply fuse, and if that fuse is blown its not cranking because it doesnt see the acc circuit,also check your connection on the brown acc wire, how are you attached? t-taps,solder,twist/tape?
