I installed this alarm on a 98 Toyota Tacoma pickup. when the alarm is armed it will go off 30 sec. later if I push the silent button it will go off 60 sec. later. I went through and made sure every thing is wired up right. I went back through and looked at wiring diagrams and there is not much to this alarm. does any one have any ideas. Thanks.

Ok I found out that I had to replace the sensor and reprogram the remotes. I aslo found out that if I press the arm button once and wait 30 it will go off like some one hit it. but if I push the lock button two time it will cherp 3 time and be armed.

cause when you push the button twice you are bypassing a channel. Figure out what channel it is bypassing and that is your problem.

thanks for replying but I am not sure what you are tring to say. about channels. I talk to crimstopper and they think something is wrong with the brain. but I am not sure I have never had this problem before.
