Hey all. I've just finished installing a rhino GX alarm (aussie brand) in my Nissan Pintara (or Nissan Stanza for all in the US) and am having a couple problems. Firstly when i connect the negative lock and unlock wires to the main central locking unit in the drivers side kick panel, all doors except the drivers side open and close on arm and disarm. I have been trying for the last 3 days trying to get it to work. I originally had an alarm installed that worked with the central locking, but as i lost the remotes for it worked out cheaper getting a new alarm system. Now, the installers of the original alarm have two wires going straight into drivers side central lock module from a box that i'm guessing is an actuator. This box is located under the steering colomn and has the following wires running from it: ground, +12V, two separate wires that i'm guessing are lock and unlock inputs for the outputs from the alarm, and the two wires that go straight into the central locking module.

I've tried connecting the neg lock and unlock outputs 2 ways; into this box and also straight into the drivers side module. Should i make the Actuators / Reverse Polarity circuit that is here?: https://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page3.asp

Sorry about the long post but i figured more information to the reader it better.. If it makes no sense i'll retype it later when i'm not half asleep!

Thanks for your time

Ah, the year of the car. my bad. Its a 1990 model.

I took the drivers side apart today, and found out that the car originally doesn't have a motor in the drivers side. When the first alarm system was being installed, an aftermarket motor was attached to the rod of the lock mechanism. The question is, how do i make the motor go up and down using the negative lock and unlock pulse of the new alarm?

Once again thanks for your time.

Use this diagram for a (-) trigger door lock system.
