hi I am planning on running two 10" compVR's in a sealed enclosure. mounting each in the far trunk corner in a honda accord. running them off a kicker kx 400.1 or 600.1, still not surt wich amp, but have always been happy with kicker products. my question is whether or not the compvr's are great for SQ or not, would also consider JL

I think they have a great sound quality to them. Only thing i had against them was they didn't hit near as hard as other brands, but if going for sound then you will love them. JL's are good for both as well but imagine you will find better deals on the Kickers price wise.

I think they are just as loud as any other sub in their price range/category...and they are a great sounding woofer, probably one of the best sounding woofers you can buy for that kind of money...I wouldnt hesitate to purchase the CompVRs if I was only going to spend a few bucks on my subs...
