python 990 working only 1 way

The only things that can cause the issue you're having are the remote, antenna cable, & antenna. Only other thing I can think of is either the antenna and or cable is bad or its the wrong antenna. There are 2 different antennas that look the same. One says Responder and the other says Responder SST. Check to be sure you have the same as the old one.

The antennas are in fact identical sst responders. This morning I took the antenna off the windshield and let it lay in the floor board. And it has been working (2way) for about an hour now. I don't understand why this would change anything. I'm going to try and find a spot on the bottom of the dash to mount the antenna and see what we come up with this afternoon. Again, thanks for all the help guys. I'll keep it updated.
