ultrastart 4296m timer start info

I tried to contact technical support and they were of no help whatsoever, searched everywhere and found no info on this so thought I would post my findings if it can help someone else in the future. The timer start works in conjunction with the temp start option. You need to set the temp at which you want the vehicle to start (0 C in my case) and then the time at which you want it to start (8 AM in my case), you enable the timer in the program option and then enable the temp start. When it gets to the time you set (8 AM) if the temp is lower than the temp you set (0 C) it will start. If you only set the temp start it will start whenever it reaches the temp you set, if you set both the temp and timer it will only attempt to start at the time you set if the temp is bellow what you set.

Actually after doing another test, you don't need to activate the temp start mode, only the timer start mode and you need to set the temperature at which you want it to start.
