Hi there
I installed a Clifford Remote Start into a 2008 Pontiac G5 (automatic Trans) using a DBALL
This is the firmware I flashed 401.GM5 v1.06.01 and I used the type 2 diagram in the install guide
I programmed the data port for D2D, the DBALL programmed correctly (well the LED said it did)
Tach programmed correctly
I engage the remote start and everything powers up like it is supposed to, the car starts normally lights flash and everything seems okay
The issue I am having is when I go to shutdown the remote start it won't shutdown with either the remote or brake pedal. I can hear a relay clicking in the brain when I try to shut the vehicle down but nothing happens after that, the only way I can get the car to turn of is to unplug the main harness on the clifford brain (aside from pulling the battery)
I have eliminated a brake wire issue by touching 12volts to the brake wire from the clifford brain (still will not shutdown)
All other wires that have been hooked up have been double checked
The funny thing is I did a 06 Pontiac Pursuit the day before with the same product
Any help would be appreciated
Mike

I would try hooking everything up W2W and see what happens.
