For the parking Lights, set the Avital to (-) and use this wire :

It is OK to connect the Avital's heavy gauge wires to thin wires.

H2/1 - BLACK/ white - (-) neutral safety switch input - not used   To Chassis Ground if auto trans
H2/4 - gray - (-) hood pinswitch shutdown wire - not being used   Please use me.... Important safety feature.
There are easier locations to get some of the wires. Here is a photo :

Thanks again for the info. i noticed on your picture you put passlock 2. the pljx install paperwork says the colorado is an ion passlock type. Is this incorrect? does my truck have a passlock 2 system? there is a different programming method and jumper selction on the pljx if this is the case. Please let me know thanks :)

So i installed the pljx today and when I tried to program it had a problem. I put the key in the ignition and turn it to accessory and the motor started cranking. I continued to turn the key to start and then released it to go back to accessory and it stopped cranking over.
I have double and triple checked everything and it's all installed correctly. So i tried to hold the program button on the pljx and hold the key to start and the program light doesn't come on the pljx. It does flash when the key is on accessory tho. Any idea's? The jumper is set correctly also. Faulty pljx? please let me know your thoughts. I had to use the truck so I disconnected the blue/white wire from the pljx and connected the wire back together so I could use the truck. Everything else is still hooked up and I unplugged the harness from the pljx also

PLJX does not have a blue/white wire. Do not connect start wire from remote start module to vehicle.

The blue/white wire is on the vehicle have to cut that wire and put the blue pljx wire to the bcm side of the wire and the pink/white pljx wire to the key side of the blue/white wire. I don't have the remote start hooked up yet just put the pljx. And the remote start starter wire goes to the violet start wire on the pljx

I have install the same avital 4103 remote start and keyless entry with the pljx bypass here's what I did.
I turn the truck on, while running I cut the WHITE/ blue which dissables the passlock and light came on, but the truck keep running then connected the corresponding cables coming from pljx to the WHITE/ blue mention obove and press the button on the bypass modelu to program the correct resistance after the light on module turn off the light on the dash from passlock turn off.
Now truck turn on and off as it should with the passlock light off might try doing the same.
Do you have any updates on your side I have everything hook up but can't seem to remote start the truck any help is appreciated.
