use 4 channel relay for window roll up?

After knowing the working mechanism of the window roll up modules, I wonder if it's doable by just using a five dollar 4 channel relay, like this one: http://www.amazon.com/SRD-12VDC-SL-C-Channel-Level-Power-Module/dp/B008MU0UXW/ref=cm_cd_ql_qh_dp_t Just connect NO to +12v, NC to the end close to the switch, and the other pin to the end close to the motor. Just don't know if the relay accept ground signal input. Otherwise, a relay is needed to convert the signal to +12 input.

Why use that board? Why not just its or similar relays and then whatever switch/control polarity you want?

Also, load detectors, on/off time, water ingress and mounting, by the time you're done, might as well have bought a closer, 529t, 530t, 535t etc.

Just realized that those modules can usually tell if the windows are closed when wired to Ground When Armed wire, while a 4 channel relay cannot.

Actually it's a load sensing thyristor or similar plus internal timer.

Yes - current sensing circuitry cuts the relays - both for safety or jams as well as the usual window at top or bottom. Some might use only timers, but IMO that is not the way to do it. None afaik use limit switches. Hence only the usual two SPDT relays are required per window motor assuming normal 2-wire reversible motors. Relay "control" is by the circuitry controlling the relays. In my case that was simply via switches (centre-off SPDT) but I was intending to add smart circuitry. (Alas that that vehicle has since fled north...) And thanks Howard for expanding my understated "... and then whatever switch/control polarity you want?". If smarts are required, it has nothing to do with the relays.
