2012 pilot rs/alarm bypass option advice needed

hello im looking for advice on what to install in my 2012 pilot I would like a long range 2-way system I was looking at viper 5706 then I saw autostart 5706as on fleabay refurbished. I also need a bypass of sorts I looked at dball2,pkall and some generic ones. it seems for the express kits a need to by the programming adapter too? it seems the dball2 makes wiring easier as it uses canbus for monitoring doors and controls locks? please give advice on any systems or what options I need for my vehicle im not set on any brand I would like remote start and autolocking alarm at a minimum but any additional convenience features would be a real plus. advice any additional features that would work would be great too. Regardless of the bypass module brand, you will need to purchase a flashing cable, unless the seller can flash it for you.any remote sa start and alarm will work, just make sure you buy a reliable one from a trusted manufacture Ie directed (viper Clifford autostart), compustar, ultrastart etc. Too keep wiring to a minimum, a fully loaded bypass with convenience features will be best. Options are idatalink adsalca, fortin evoall, xpresskit db all. Ensure DBI protocols are turned on for use in d2dTed

is anyone of these better then the other, does one offer more features then another? im not familiar with these.

I have used all 3, dropped xpresskit simply due to insufficient vehicle coverage/reliability issues, rarely use fortin now, since switching to compustar + idatalink blade. of the three you can't go wrong with idatalink or fortin. identical coverage on both.Ted

Both DEI and Compustar are good products. One is not much better than the other.Buyer beware with fleabay though. I've had no problems with DEI + DB-ALL combi here in the UK.
