Running 6x9's and 6 1/2" components off of a 110w x4 channel amp.  is it okay to run 16 gauge wire to all of them?  if not what should I run?

If you ask me what gauge wire to run, I'd first ask what brand amp it is. You will do no harm by running larger gauge wire. I'm not talking 1/0 here, but 8 gauge wire wouldn't hurt, especially if you are going to look to add a sub amp later. Just my opinion. Really, a good 8 gauge or even 4 gauge set won't set you back much and is well worth the added investment. Check out www.knukoncepts.com for some good deals on some quality amp kits.

Blazermedic he is talking about speaker wire not power cable. I don’t think he needs an 8 or 4 gauge speaker wire to power his mids and highs!

Nevermind, I thought you were talking power and ground wire. I bet I looked like an idiot there to you folks for a moment. I run 14 gauge wire to my speakers and 10 gauge to my subs. There really isn't much need to run any bigger speaker wire than that.
Sorry for the confusion!!
