Wiring 2 pairs of front speakers

Why would you want a mono front end? Infinity Reference REF40021 4" Multi-element 2-way speaker 35RMS 105Peak 4ohms JL 570-CX 5x7 Coaxial speaker 50RMS ?Peak 4ohms IMO, you would want to get a 2-channel amp rated at 100 x 2 @ 2ohms. Wire both sides in parallel (1 Infinity and 1 JL per channel) for a 2ohm total load per channel. 1) Each speaker would receive 50RMS. Even though the Infinity's only have a 35RMS rating, their peak is 105watts so your still safe there. 2) The amp would see a 2ohm load per channel, allowing it to function more efficiently than at 4ohms so you're better off there too. 3) Finally, you'll be running the front speakers in Stereo instead of Mono, so you're better off there too. I just encountered the same thing.  In my case, it's 3.5 infinities & 6.5 pioneers, but close enough...

wvsquirrel hit it on the head by wiring an infinity & jl in parallel on each channel.  Let's say, for sake of argument, you HU is 25w rms per channel.  That's rated at 4 Ohms.  When you wire the speakers in parallel, you're going to present the HU with a 2 Ohm load, and that would increase the output, say, to 40w rms.  That's 20 per speaker, which will be plenty if you can't afford an amp.
