I am wondering If anyone knows the location and color for the vehicle speed sensor on a 90 silverado. Also if you know where the reverse signal wire color and location. I have searched all over the net and I find nothing. If the only place to tie in is at the speed sensor itself, then which wire is it?
Thanks

Here is the 91 Suburban Diagram. C11 of the DRAC will go to the A10 terminal on the 24 pin connector of the ECM (curcuit #437, wire color-brown)

That will help with the reverse wire, but the 1990 didn't have the DRAC. I wonder if I can tie in right at the VSS. It has 2 wires and is located at the tail housing of the transmission. I just don't know which wire to tie into. I am guessing one of the wires is ground and the other is signal? I guess maybe if I check each one for continuity to the frame to determine which is ground? Can anyone confirm this?

If no DRAC and two wire then one is ground and the other is AC singnal. Some 90's had a DRAC some didn't. Should be able to get it at PCM also.
