Car has the Jbl stereo. My rear speakers recently died. I am looking for wiring info and insight. I have tested other speakers with no success. No signal is getting to the speakers. Is there a connector anywhere away from the main unit that could be disconnected? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Have you checked the fader? I know it sounds obvious, but I've seen it many times in the past.

I thought I had checked that but you made me run out to the car to confirm... it is not the fader.

If both rear speakers coincidentally died and no sound comes from them at all, it may be more complicated than just the speakers, and could extend to the amp and/or head unit. Newer JBL Toyotas use a digital fader signal from the head unit to the factory amp.
