Hi Everyone,

A 1st timer here.

I have a 2015 Toyota Tacoma 4 door access cab without back seats. I am hoping to install 2 x 10" Shallow Subwoofers on the back cab floorboard, subwoofer facing downwards.

The reason I am going with shallow Subwoofer, it's because I only wanted a good sounding system without a huge MDF box in the back.

I have done some reaches and narrow it down to 2 models, Earthquake Sound SWS-10x or DB river K5F-10D4.

The Amp I will be using to drives these 2 shallow subwoofers will be a DB Drive A3-2250.5.

Planing on dropping these shallow subwoofer to 2ohm @ 500 watts.

Has anyone heard of these 2 subs? or even owns them?

I can really use some feedbacks.

Between those brands I'd probably use the DB Drive. But for good sounding shallow mount, check out JL Audio TW3 or MTX.
