2 Subs, mono Amp 4 terminals

Hey all, as a newb in the world of car audio I am looking for some guidance. I have been scouring youtube videos and forum posts but can't find exactly what I am looking for and this being my first install I wanted to double check. I got done building a custom fiberglass box and my amp rack and was going to start wiring everything up today when I looked at my mono amp and saw 4 terminals. Very confused I looked online for info and came across info on wiring but not for my situation. My box is for 2 10" subs each Dual 2 Ohm voice coils. It has a center divider and using the simple diagrams I had found online I was going to wire them together and then to the amp at a 2 ohm load. But, with the 4 terminals (+-+-) how should they be wired to keep the 2 ohm load? Is it easier to just consider them two separate boxes and just wire the voice coils together on each sub and then run each pair of pos and neg wires to the separate terminals? I've attached an image of what I was going to do but I'm thinking I can skip the part where you wire the subs to each other. Some clarification on this would be greatly appreciated. Many mono amps include four terminals for ease of making connections. It is just two positions on one connection. Using both positives, for example, is the same as connecting to one.Support the12volt.com
