Has anyone installed or modified the radio in a 2016 Ford Edge? I have the smaller sync model. Can't seem to find much about it online. I was able to find an "infotainment" upgrade package online, but it's a little too pricy for me. It was over $1000 to start. I'm not wanting to do anything crazy, just upgrade the factory speakers and add an amp and sub.

It doesn't look like there is anything made to add a aftermarket radio to that car yet. You can however upgrade the speakers and add an amp and sub to the factory radio. You would do this using a LOC (line out converter) You tap into the existing speaker wires with it and it gives you RCA outs to go to the amp. Im not sure on the speaker sizes for that car offhand but I'm sure you could find that by doing some looking around online.
