Hey guys, I have the 2007 Hyundai Sonata with the premium infinity system. It has the oem amp in the back and a DVC 8'' sub. As far as I can tell the amp accepts a 2 or 4 ohm load. However they say it's a 6 channel amp. So I'm not sure if the amp sub output can be bridged or not.
I have a dvc 4+4 sub replacement, which I was going to hopefully bridge the sub and make it a 2ohm load. Can this be done? I literally cannot find any info on this amp unfortunately.

you can not bridge a factory amp. There just not built that way. They are designed to do exactly what the factory set up is, nothing more. not to mention the factory sub is maybe 75 watts and you going to replace it with a dvc that probably 300 watts +. That subs gonna be alot quieter than the factory sub
33 years as a installer now just a retired old guy. Favorite thing to install/topic are remote starts/car alarms. Stop using test lights!!!
