Hello,
I have a 2018 Silverado 1500 with a compustar FT-DC2-S remote start and security. The issue I’m having is at night when I disarm the system when the remote start is active the HID headlights flash. My question is can I use the ground when running to the parking lights to stop this? If I can do this do I need to place a diode in-line so when the lights are on at night it don’t back feed to the GWR? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The white with black dots on the m2 harness should be going to the lt.Green/grey at the head light switch. Maybe better than going to the bcm
33 years as a installer now just a retired old guy. Favorite thing to install/topic are remote starts/car alarms. Stop using test lights!!!
