hello guys,
i did a remote starter for a 2008 volkswagen jetta city standard transmission. using a compustar cm7200 starter module. everything works ok except the clutch bypass. i could not activate the clutch when remote starting the car. car will remote start when i press down the clutch. what wire should i use to bypass the clutch? there is no red/black present from the relay 53?
thanks

If the car is equipped with cruise control there will be 2 switches associated with the clutch pedal. One of the switches will change state if you push the clutch pedal down slightly. This is the one used to cancel the cruise control. The other switch will change state when the pedal is completely depressed. This is the switch you need to use. Chances are there is only one wire associated with that switch.
If it does not have cruise there is probably only one switch.

He posted a violet/black wire in the photo. What’s that have to do with a missing red/black wire?
