2009 Lexus IS250, Fortin Evo One Install

I looked for the Can Low and Can High wires but im having trouble. In the picture I posted which is from Fortin, the Can Low is actually an empty slot. Could the wires actually be over the on left side next to the blue and purple wires? Also anything else special to know about this car? Is the INT-SL+ mandatory for the install? I just want to use the OEM remote to remote start. Thanks.

Take a close look at the OBD2 connector to see if it has the Pin numbers marked, some do, at least Pin 1 and 9. It depends on wether it's a front or rear view, too. You are probably correct that the wires you want are on the other side of the connector. Additionally if you strip back the insulation far enough you will see that those CAN wires are paired and twisted together. Info from another source is the same : CANBUS HIGH & LOW    GREEN (HIGH) WHITE (LOW)    @OBDII PINS 6 & 14 The INT-SL+ is for the power locks so you don't have to run wires into the Driver Door. Check to see if the Factory Remotes still work after a R/S. Some Toyota/Lexus applications don't work while the engine is running and you either use the key or the Aftermarket remote to unlock the car to get in...Soldering is fun!

So I’m pretty confident that I have connnected all the right wires. The unit seemed to program right with the red light flashes and then blue flashes..etc. So my concern is if I really need to use the optional module for the door locks? My plan was to use the OEM remote, but the remote starter is not activating with 3x lock. Do I really need the additional door lock module for this to work? Also, on the programming side, if I go to “wizard” mode it only shows “no oem remote” and can only pick an RF kit. If I go to “pro” mode, I’m able to pick 3x lock….etc. I’m worried that this is causing me an issue also. Can someone please help? Thanks!

Pretty sure that the EVO-ONE does not support "3x Lock" engine remote starting on this application. You must use a aftermarket remote start FOB. The INT-SL+ is not mandatory, just the easiest way to handle the locks from the R/S system. The Factory FOB's might still work while the engine is running under R/S going by the EVO-ONE take over procedure. Test to be sure. ADS iDatastart handles the door locks by direct hardwire. This requires going into the driver door as shown below : Soldering is fun!
