Having problems installing a remote starter.. no crank.. Its a flashlogic FLCMWVW w/t harness kit. When using the remote starter, the ignition turns on and just as I think its going to crank.. no crank. The remote starter runs through the process a second time.. still no crank. I get a no-tach sequence blink on the paring lights (at least I believe it is.. its either 3-8 or 4-8 blinks). I reprogrammed the module as a hybrid (believe ignores tach), same no crank but the parking and headlights stay on with no codes because I believe the starter thinks its "running" due to ignoring the tach. Any idea why the remote starter is failing to send the crank command? any idea what to look into? any help is appreciated 2017 Q3 w/push button start. Thank you!

A few thoughts...
Did the module program correctly all the way to Step 22? Tach programmed
The car won't R/S if the Check Engine light is ON or Low Fuel Warning.
Check your two connections to the Q3 from the M5 harness. Do the Brake Lights come on during a R/S?
Soldering is fun!

I believe it did, everything seemed to go well (a couple of times), green flashing at 22..

    No CEL or Low fuel

I will check these, I think correct based on colors but will verify the 3M T-tap connection

I just went out and checked, the brakes lights are on

Not sure at this point.
You are using a T-Harness so most of the connections are made for you. The Brake lights come on during a R/S attempt so the M5 connections are good. The module programmed properly so bypass and Tach should be good.
Try to get a good count on the Parking Lights with a failed R/S. That might point you in the direction of the fault.
Soldering is fun!
