88 camaro iroc alpine alarm

i have a 88 camaro iroc with t-tops and i have a alpine alarm with proximity on it and i have a jvc elkamelion deck and some times when i start my car the clock is totally wrong like it went totaly off and i don't know whats goin on does it mean i need a new battery ...........and if anyone is familliar with my alarm i'm having problems with it so message me back asap

if your car starts with the battery then you don't need a new one.  You'll want to make sure the head unit's constant power wire is correct though.  It will read somewhere around 12 volts regardless of whether or not the car is turned on.  When hooked up properly, the wire will give the head unit power 24/7, so that it can keep the time and presets even when the car is turned off.
