I've never had any problems with their cables and accessories. I haven't heard any of their "powered" products (subs, speakers, amps, etc), but like DaRikster said it's all personal preference.

i have a phoenix gold qx900.1d, i think its the series above the xs series. its pushing 2 punch hx2 12's with a 2 ohm load. as for power, my ears start hurting when i turn it up. i've been pushing it pretty hard, not max though, but my amp has yet to heat up into protection mode.i don't regret purchasing my amp.

thanks to all for the opinions

:)

I can say this much, the streetwire=noise the PG=no noise

NO noise

that's all I can say as far as what my ears can detect in my install

as for amps, I bought a kenwood to power the subs, and am quite pleased, considering what I spent

My turn..PG amps and signal processors are definately the shiznit!! I have a pair of mps 2240's that I've had since the early nineties. Well,to make a long story short...after a  car fire last year that burned up everything from the engine compartment to the back seat of my 87' Hyundai, I was able to salvage my amps,x/over,eq,one sub (JL10w1)and all of my fuse and distribution blocks too. This is after fire, smoke and water damage. I'm happy to say that all of the above mentioned equipment is now being used in another car. Not the 10 though, I moved up to a 12w7. But all the amps and stuff still works fine! All I did was basically  spray them w/electrical cleaner then wiped  them down! PG amps and processors are rock solid!! You can't go wrong w/them.

They definitely aren't what they used to be.  They did have some nice stuff years ago, but the newer lines are pretty basic in comparison.

hmmm....

I don't know about the entry level stuff but the TI line of amps and the Power Cores are definately what I'm used to w/PG equipment! I recently acquired a 1200.1,a 600.2 and a 500.4. These things are not only powerful, but they truly works of art too! To me they are anyway.

When I get my truck put back together,I'll post some pics of my new install.opinions on phoenix gold stuff - Page 2 -- posted image.
