I have been looking at many in dash lcd monitor, and I have decided that this one should suit me perfectly. I just have a few questions. I am hooking up Infinity 60.5CS Kappa 6.5" component system, Infinity 63.5i Kappa 6.5" in the rear deck of my 1993 Honda Civic. Also I am going to hook up a Infinity 120.3 DVC 12" Kappa. Here's my question (finally). Is it possible to hook up a 5 channel (Alpine MRP-F320) amplifier to the Alpine CVA-1004? Cause I want to run all my Infinity speakers to this one amp. I was not sure about the rca outputs on the CVA-1004, and would it allow this. Also I will be hooking up a Alpine CHA-S634 CD/MP3 changer, with a Lasonic transportable DVD player through the Alpine KCA-801B.

Any input would be greatly appreciated, I'm going to get it installed professional in Alexandria, LA or Baton Rouge, LA. I just plan on buying all the stuff first throught the internet (cheaper), and getting a professional to install it with a Pac TR-7 bypass switch.

I would like to thank yal ahead of time for any advice. I'm a newbie to this.

The CVA 1004 only has single preouts on there so you will not have separate fronts or rear channels ( just rear or sub ). Look at page 52 of this link.

That is correct velocity, there is smiley, another way to hook up your 1004 to get front to rear fade, and that would be to buy 2 hi/lo level convertors and attach them to the speaker outputs and then you could turn on the "sub out" function on your 1004 to have sub out control. Also you DON'T need the KCA 801B, it already has 1 set of audio/video inputs. If you are adding more than one a/v source you will need the KCE-104V

If you want to be able to fade between the front and rear speakers, you could also get something like this fader knob from sony, and then mount the knob up near your head unit.

Personally I would recommend adding the KCE-104V to the system. It enables you much greater control over what you feed to your amplifier(s), enables multi a/v inputs, and gives much greater flexibilty all round when you start adding things to your system. It's worth that little bit extra IMO. My setup simply wouldn't work if I had just the one pre-out.
