I am trying to figure out how to install a 13.3 inch LCD monitor to the roof of my 96 Jeep grand cherokee.  I do not have a sun roof, i have a overhead console that goes mid way through the back seats.  I don't want to have the monitor offset to one side, if i remove the entire console i will have to have a new roof made, are their any alternitives????  i don't have the monitor yet so i am very open to options.

Go to a wrecker and get a Grand Cherokee roof liner without the center console/ information center and then you can mount the 13.3 " LCD monitor on this piece. This will simplifiy things ALOT and installation is a breeze because you have the liner out of the roof so you can actually screw the LCD monitor in without a problem on a work bench. You would have to remove the one that you have now regardless, so why not just get a used liner from a wrecker Flip Down Monitor with existing overhead console -- posted image.
