I am getting rid of my kicker cvr 15's and I want to move up to the solo berics.  I have a JBL 1200.1 and i want to know what size should i get.  Thinking about 1 15" L7 or 2 12" L5's .  The 15 will costs me $250 what should I get.  Going for spl and sq will come when i hook my components up.  If i get the the 15 may add another later but for now dont want to spend over $300 this week.    I have a 96 chrysler concorde in case you want to know vehicle.  Help me out.

If you want spl the 15 should do it, espically if you add one later. It sounds like you want to do this right so I would also suggest using some sound dampining material like dynamat or brown bread. Nothing is worse than spending big bucks just to lose your system to vibrating body panels. Also it doesn't matter what you are driving or how hard it slams you can look like a dill if your trunk sounds like the gong show. Kicker reccomends a 3-6 cubic foot box for the 15 L7's this vented enclosure will really give you some spl. Can your trunk handle that much space? Hope this helps
