How many layers of fiberglass will i need to make sure this beast doesnt flex? Should i use coremat? thanks for the help.

1/4" should work for most of the enclosure. Flat areas should get more reinforcement.

1/4 is thick enough for 2 15's in a 5 cuft box?

3 layers of 1.5 oz chop, 1 layer of 2 oz coremat, 3 more layers of 1.5 oz chop. If this isn't strong enough, wait 24 hours and layup some more glass.

Are you basically taking a normal box and stretching the two subs out of the front?

I would buy 2 gallons and expect to have some left. Nothing's worse than running out in the middle of a project.

Build the box a little oversize. It's easier to take away airspace than add it.

With the box I'm just making like sort of half a box in the back to screw the 2 amps and a cap into, thats what the wood will be. I wanted to display the amps since they look good 1001bd and 301x by rockford but cant find an easy way since its so hard to run the wires thru the box without running powers next to rcas and all that sh*t.
thanks for the info though

Sometimes you can get away with running RCAs next to power wires. You just have to find out through trial and error.
